WHY i MOVED WEBHOST

Like most people I am horrified by the ongoing situation in Gaza.  I believe we are witnessing genocide in real time and that world leaders must take action to make Israel stop.

As an individual I wondered what I could do to protest and show that I do not condone or support Israeli actions?  I already consciously don’t buy goods produced in Israel (click this link for more info) but what more could I do? . Then I realized that my website provider Wix is owned and operated from Israel.  I decided that I could vote with my digital feet & wallet and take my business elsewhere.  This is what I’ve done; I’ve created a brand new site on a different platform and have closed my account with Wix. 

I feel in taking this action that I have made a (small) but important gesture to the powers in Israel showing them that I will not support the actions taken in their name. 

If all individuals, small businesses and organisations took a similar approach with Israeli companies I believe there would be internal pressure put on Israel to cease their warfare on Palestinians and end this apartheid structure. “Money talks” as they say.

I believe everyone can make a difference.
